Teacher.

Teacher.

The world is trying to teach me how to let go.

I fall asleep in class,

or I barely even go.

Fall is trying to show me how to shed and how to grow.

I don’t care,

and I simply don’t want to know.

I don’t want to leave,

but nothing burns up slow.
